- What is this additive used for?
- It is added to diesel exhaust fluid (DEF/AUS 32) to prevent urea crystallization, nozzle clogging, pump filter blockage, and SCR catalyst deposits. It keeps the SCR system clean and prevents engine power loss (derating).
- How much additive should I mix with DEF?
- The typical mixing ratio is 0.5% to1.0% (e.g., 50to100 ml of additive per 10 liters of DEF). Always follow the manufacturer's recommended dosage for your specific SCR system.
- Is it compatible with all DEF brands?
- Yes. This additive is fully compatible with all ISO 22241 compliant DEF, and AUS 32 products. It does not affect the chemical stability or NOx reduction efficiency of the base fluid.
- Can this additive clean an already clogged SCR system?
- It is primarily designed as a preventive additive. For severely clogged systems, mechanical cleaning or professional servicing may still be required. However, with regular use, it significantly reduces the risk of clogging and can help dissolve minor deposits over time.
- Is this product certified?
- Yes. It is formulated to meet or exceed ISO 22241 standards. It does not contain any harmful substances that could damage SCR catalysts or violate emissions regulations. Third-party test reports are available upon request.
