Product Description

Diesel Exhaust Fluid/DEF

1. It is NOx selective catalytic reductant, composed of32.5%ultra-pure urea and pure water. It is applicable to all SCR systems of diesel engines which conform to European emission standard. It is an indispensable part for SCR technology.

2. It converts NOx into nitrogen, oxygen and water by generating the selective catalytic reduction with NOx, so as to reduce the emission of nitrogen-oxygen compounds.

3. The SCR technology effectively reduces the oil consumption and the emission of nitrogen-oxygen compounds.

How Diesel Exhaust Fluid Works:

When injected into the exhaust stream with a specialized dosing module, DEF water vaporizes, leaving NH3 molecules en route to the catalytic converter; once there, it converts NOx molecules into harmless nitrogen and water vapor-making for cleaner emissions. Making sure you do not run out of DEF in an SCR equipped truck is simple - watch the DEF gauge, which is part of the diesel fuel gauge, for when it is time to refill. DEF is stored in a dedicated tank next to the fuel tank on the driver's side. The tanks range in size from 6 to 23 gallons depending on the truck's application.
The DEF tank fill opening is designed to accommodate a DEF fill nozzle to ensure only DEF is put into the tank. A diesel fuel nozzle will not fit into the DEF tank opening. Our patented closed liquid dispensing system provides everything you need to effectively dispense your DEF. For DEF to work well product integrity is critical, and our dispensing systems are the only way to maintain this quality. These reusable systems are also cost effective by providing a significant savings over single-use containers. DEF dispensing systems are available in configurations for fleets, retailers and commercial applications. DEF is key to helping improve fuel economy by up to five percent while simultaneously reducing exhaust emissions.

Why choose urea as a reagent to control NOx emissions?

You may wish to choose urea for safety reasons. It poses less risks in the workplace and doesn't require specific training
* Urea is non hazardous. It is stable, non volatile, non explosive and non flammable
* It can be safely transported, stored and handled without the need for specific training
